In an effort to help bridge the gap between children and the environment, I've created "Dune's Island," a video learning series that aims to teach kids stewardship and coastal science concepts in a fun and engaging way through stories and characters. This community-based series is made in partnership with the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet, Florida, and is comprised of episodes, support documentaries and tie-in curriculum for grades K-5 written by a team of science teachers. Everyone involved with the project is an educator or volunteer (myself included.) "Dune's Island" is completely donation-driven...if you think it's a valuable resource, please consider making a small contribution to help support the project. To find out how you can donate, please contact me via the email below. Thanks in advance!
